No the club is open to everyone. It just has some functions which is only for paying members\contributors. But nothing exiting IMHO. I suggested at least a dozen time to make it more obvious for everyone but so far nothing changed.

I think that's the IceOSX icon theme. It should be in plf.

If you have installed Mandriva from a live cd they might be left out to save space. That's why there weren't any man pages on 2007 live cds and there maybe still aren't any.

Go to System\Configuration\Configure your computer. In the window which just appeared type the root password. Now the Mandriva Control Center starts. On the packaging tab, which should be the one you see now choose the open box with rpm written on it icon. You can manage your software sources here. Just click add. You need both the update sources and the distribution sources If you haven't added any repo yet.

Run XFdrake and setup your video settings.
