  1. No the club is open to everyone. It just has some functions which is only for paying members\contributors. But nothing exiting IMHO. I suggested at least a dozen time to make it more obvious for everyone but so far nothing changed.

  3. Or you can just add a new panel to your KDE desktop (by right clicking on the old one) and put anything you want on it.

  11. Would someone tell me how to make a black kmenu button? A step by step short howto would be great. I'd like to keep the original color of the star and the text and the 3d look of the button too.

  13. If you have installed Mandriva from a live cd they might be left out to save space. That's why there weren't any man pages on 2007 live cds and there maybe still aren't any.

  15. OK I was wrong it's on the System tab and the traffic light icon. Choose the login manager. There you should see the available options and Entrance among them.

  19. Go to System\Configuration\Configure your computer. In the window which just appeared type the root password. Now the Mandriva Control Center starts. On the packaging tab, which should be the one you see now choose the open box with rpm written on it icon. You can manage your software sources here. Just click add. You need both the update sources and the distribution sources If you haven't added any repo yet.
