ianw1974 Posted October 6, 2007 Report Share Posted October 6, 2007 This is my nice new laptop - HP Business Laptop 6710b, Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz (4MB cache), 1GB RAM (going to 4GB Monday), 160GB HDD. Currently running Gentoo 2007.0 and Gnome for my desktop. Just finished compiling OpenOffice in four hours. On my other laptop, this took almost 24 hours!
