somewhere in the kde config app there is an option for display mounted drives. if you right click on the desktop and go to properties it is an option in one of the menus. Is that enabled or disabled?

It may just be that you got a bad download. Have you tried downloading the rpm's again? I know its a pain in the ass, but it can happen.

I recently installed Yellowdog Linux on my apple at work. I have a one button mouse connected to this thing. currently, the F11 key emulates a right click. Does anyone know how to change that from F11 to something else? say... >ctrl< >leftmouseclick< ?

I see what you mean about the weak google results... It did seem that the Thrustmaster wheel would work, but don't quote me. Even the Linux hardware compatability list doesn't have it listed. sorry I haven't really been more helpful.

Not that linux won't be 100%, but its always better to be 100% yourself, and leave it up to your system.
