Gnubie
http://fedora.redhat.com/ I'm not sure if I should try this, or if I should wait for MDK 9.2. Oh, wait... I'll do both. B)
DragonMage
I probably will try it on a spare computer just to see how good it is as a server.

jlc
So has anyone tried this and can offer an opinion? I've played with all the beta's, but I don't think it's been on the mirrors long enough for anyone to have it yet. B)

ral
Any feedback on this would be good. I doubt it will be something for the mainstream user. It sounds like its going to be geared to the enthusiast, used to test cutting edge technology.
Ixthusdan
The fedora install is good. There are clean choices for default and custom installs. It did not hose my system (like gentoo did the last time I tried it!) Konqorer is missing. I am on mozilla, and I like Konq better. Fedora defaults to Gnome, I swithched to kde because that is what I am familiar with. My sound card is not working!!! (Sounblaster live!) Red Hat 9 had the same problem on my box. The "Red Hat" is still the start button. B) I shouyld go to gnome and see what that is like on fedora. The package selection for gnome was a lot more than for kde, so I suspect the kde is not as elaborate as gnome. Konq is not missing, it's just hidden!! bvc
I'd say it's was just missing. Heh, if kde is installed then konq has to be aslo.
Ixthusdan
bvc, you have to configure sound in Red Hat? Both Red Hat and Fedora do not auto detect my sb live card correctly!
jlc
That's wired lx, it detected mine?
