polemicz
I'm putting my record collection on my computer to make cds, but I'd also like to be able to encode the wav files into mp3 or ogg vorbis. I can get grip to encode from cds, but not files. Any ideas on how to encode these files? Thanks in advance.
scoopy
Try Audacity... you will need to have liblame0-3.93.1-4plf.i586.rpm installed and set up in the prefs.
Qchem
If you're feeling up to it you can do it from commandline using oggenc
polemicz
Thanks, Audacity is quite nice. Now if I can only find libmp3lame.so so I can also encode to mp3.

scoopy
I just linked it to the libmp3lame.so.0 file and it seems to do the job.

polemicz
Yes it does look great and, as is often the case, the simple CLI approach is easier than running through menus!

Yep, I agree it is for encoding. It's actually one of the few things I prefer to do the CLI-way.
