  1. Ubuntu Gaming Arena - News section Ankh is a 3d adventure which runs natively in linux. Way to go, Runesoftware!
  2. Makes it any diffrent if you copy the installer script to your HDD and run it from there?
  3. I agree with scarecrow. Especially when you do update and upgrade you can end in a big mess. I'm not fond of these Automatix and Easy Ubuntu scripts/applications even though it makes easier to get codecs and flash. I have seen terrible disaster what happen when it really go wrong. If you need help with some specific applications/codecs/etc. you need, just ask :)
  4. Seems a lot of small game companies and developers are testing/trying the Linux market. Here's another one: Nut & Scrap from Devilish Games.
  5. I agree 100%! I used Ubuntu for about a year but eventually moved on as I felt it wasn't a 'proper' Linux distro. Totally BS statement! Ubuntu is a proper linux distro like every other distro out there. Some like sudo other do not that's fair and all about personal preferences, but stating it's not a proper linux distro is far out.
  6. I use Logitech cordless keyboard and mouse. It has worked perfectly with every Linux distro I have tried (including live CDs). The transmitter has a PS2 and USB connector so you can choose what suites you best. Aye, have something similiar. Logitech Cordless keyboard + optical cordless rechargable mouse. My mouse batteries can go on for around 2 weeks max. then it have to recharge for some hours. So it's a good deal.
  7. Tux Games Games Machine Tuxgames are now selling Linux PCs with alot of games preinstalled. 4 diffrent machines are available which have preinstalled Fedora Core 6. Games that are included: # Creatures: Internet Edition # Majesty # Candy Cruncher # Mindrover # NingPo MahJong # Hyperspace Delivery Boy # Software Tycoon # Postal 2: Share the Pain # Soul Ride # X2: The Threat # Gorky 17 # Cold War
  8. Ubuntu Gamers Arena - News section New game from Garagegames.com - the folks behind the Torque Game Engine and games like Tribal Trouble. Watch out! I just installed it to test and see what it was... It ended with two hours straight in front of the computer playing Kachinko. Highly Addictive.
  9. Have you checked if it's installed by default? If so try with cedega in terminal/konsole
  10. Nice to hear and see people help eachother :)
  11. If people want to see my desktop check - http://polarbeardk.blogspot.com/2006/11/gnome-eyecandy.html

  14. Ian, it's time to get some more out from MUB :P Yeah, I like MUB as well. A good place for people with diffrent distros to change idea and thoughts. None of other multi-distro provides that good support and community feeling.

  18. Gaming.gwos.org Aye, it's a reality. The best MMORPG Games get a Linux client. This is looking good for Linux, also that both UT2007 and Quakewars will have Linux clients.
