scoopy
CD2: file:/mnt/cdrom/Mandrake/RPMS2/gqview-1.3.2-4mdk.i586.rpm (gqview is not bad either) also, as a photographer, I like the fact that gthumb will show the image's EXIF comments (info recorded with the image by your camera). You will need to install libexif-gtk4 (on CD1) for this to work.

Guest johnKFT
I have tried dozens of them and ended up with GImageView - http://gtkmmviewer.sourceforge.net/ It does all sorts of things including displaying Windows Metafiles clipart, sound files, movie files, external programs, annotations, exif etc. I also use the ROX file manager with Huge thumbnail icons. Very fast and simple.

Darkelve
Gqview is on the CD, in my case it was already installed in the 'Multimedia-Graphics' menu. Maybe 'cause the search is case sensitive? Gtumb is not. You can get it here: ftp://216.254.0.38/linux/Mandrake/9.2/con...6-1mdk.i586.rpm It's really nice for organizing your photo collection(s) oops, sorry chin808, I did not see this thread had a second page... bvc
pixiplus (is that rt?) has some cool features as well. Not much as just a viewer though.

Totoro
Hi all I have just registered and this is my first post. I'm using ShowImg-0.8.1. It was a bit difficult for me to install it from tar.gz (I had to follow step-by-step instructions in INSTALL to make it) but it was worth a try. I like its UI integrated with KDE and "Shrink if bigger" zoom option. http://www.jalix.org/projects/showimg/ GImageView looks interesting. I'll give it a try. Thanks. ^_^ Edited December 14, 2003 by Totoro
