I keep changing it in the settings, and I even tried deleting my .gaimrc file and reconfiguring all the settings, and people are still seeing an old icon. Guest Grimey Posted April 9, 2003 Report Share Posted April 9, 2003 RPMs and now when I try to run gaim I get this error gaim: /lib/i686/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.3' not found (required by gaim) I tried installing GLIBC_2.3 too and it gave me a bunch of errors saying it's alright installed and alll this, looked like this: error: failed dependencies: glibc-common = 2.3.2-11.9 is needed by glibc-2.3.2-11.9 glibc = 2.2.5 is needed by locales-2.3.1.3-7mdk glibc = 2.2.5 is needed by locales-2.3.1.3-7mdk glibc = 2.2.5-16.2mdk is needed by glibc-devel-2.2.5-16.2mdk Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest arise Posted April 9, 2003 Report Share Posted April 9, 2003 AFAIK file transfers for MSN are partially supported, meaning you can only RECEIVE files, but not send...it was like this couple of weeks ago from the latest 0.6 CVS build. Guest Grimey Posted April 9, 2003 Report Share Posted April 9, 2003 When I try and run the Gaim RPM it says that I need: gtk2 >= 2.0.0 is needed by gaim-0.61-1 and when I try install that it gives me enough errors to fill like 2 screens, any suggestions? I see the aim/icq plugin but I don't know the login server for icq :( for ICQ, just act like you're going to connect to aim, but put your ICQ# as your name and then your password in the password file (atleast, that's how I understand it). Just removed all my gaim files and installed 0.61 from source, still having this problem. WinGAIM users can see the icon, but regular AIM users cannot.
