jboy 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2006 Here's another site: http://www.cbel.com/free_graphics/ And after you can find them, you might find a tool like Image Optimizer to be useful: http://tools.dynamicdrive.com/imageoptimizer/
iphitus 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2006 what sort of images? and who said you needed images for websites? http://iphitus.loudas.com/ one image used in the whole thing, and if there were better browser support, I'd replace it with inlined svg. You dont need images for a good looking site.

neddie 0 Report post Posted May 6, 2006 Bear in mind that most of the images you find with a google or altavista search, are not just there for the nicking and republishing. Of course there's little to stop you doing that if you wanted to, but if you're going to go to the trouble of designing the site then you might as well make it legit. As for buying graphics, I don't know, I've never tried it, but dmoz.org might help: http://dmoz.org/Computers/Graphics/Web/ You still haven't said what kind of graphics you need - button icons, banner backgrounds, page backgrounds, border elements, logos? But of course you already have the Gimp and Inkscape right? Why not create them yourself? ;)

zachwor 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2006 While this site is not going to offer you any images, I recommend taking a look at www.w3schools.com for anything HTML, XHTML, or CSS. It's a great resource if you are stuck on the coding side.
