  2. And in greek. According to the man pages it looks like I'll have to first copy the files to a local directory then upload them. scp looks like what I'm looking for but the man page is sparse and doesnt provide any example scripts, which is basically what I'm looking for. I was hoping someone with some experience would provide an example.
  3. Ok. Here's what I need to do: I'd like to setup an hourly cron job to take all the .log files from... ftp://me@serverA/files/*.log and copy them to... ftp://me@serverB/files/ Both of these servers require a separate password. I have very limited experience with this sort of thing and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  4. Yeah, my installation is all borked... AGAIN. I'm debating on whether or not to re-install or just wait until OE is released. What's the latest on OE? Think it'll be out before the end of the month?

  7. I've been using Crossover for about a year now. Works great with Photoshop 7. Ive also used it to install alot of the non-supported stuff such as: DreamweaverMX and Flash 5. I think its a great program but I hope its not detering software companies from coding for Linux.
  8. Why hasnt Mandrake started packaging Fluxbox with its distro? It's included blackbox for as long as I can remember. Anyway. As my main desktop I prefer Gnome. To me it just seems faster, more polished and more professional. I also like XFce and Flux.

  12. How about MCC? Everything "drake" was broken for me. I didnt even want to think about fixing it lol.
  13. I bit the bullet and did a complete reinstall. After downloading and installing the 600+ megs of stuff everything seems to be working ok except the icons and theme manager. Hopefully we'll get a fix for this soon.

  16. Wow this is bad. KDE is broken too. I cant even launch drakconf from the command line. I get this error: /usr/bin/perl: relocation error: /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.3/i386-linux-thread-multi/auto/Gtk2/Gtk2.so: undefined symbol: gperl_register_error_domain I dont know what to do now. [edit] I get the same error when I try to run MandrakeUpdate too. Gconf launches but crashes as soon as I touch it. Damn, my setup was running so well [/edit]
  17. I'm having the exact same problem. None of the icon themes I have work.
  18. I dont blame you one bit for being upset. But how about filing a bug report or something? It would suck for that to happen to someone else too.
  19. Why would there be more bugs compiling it from source?
