  1. That's too cool anon! Now we'll have people coming to the board just for the skins. :D
  2. Well somehow we ended up with this new black/grey scheme called Hardwired. I have no idea where it came from. :o I just don't know anybody that likes those colors. ;)
  3. Thanks anon! :P On a side note I've discovered very minor problems with each skin, for the most part missing icons, sometimes things have to changed in css, etc. They've all been easy to correct but if you notice something that doesn't appear correct then please pm me. Thanks!
  4. Well check out purple illusion. It's about as purple as you can get! I'm still working on a few things but it's usable. /me goes back into hiding.
  5. Okay, I've added and modified three more skins (/me ducks and hides from anon). Check em out cause there should be one for just about anybody's preferences.
  6. Well I've been an opera user and off and on a Mozilla user for about two years. Mozilla is good for somethings but I prefer Opera's quickness and easy configurability. When I have to use Mozilla I just think it's so slow and I had a hard time getting java to work for it. Comparing features for features to me Opera wins hands down. And I have purchased a license for it. But I wouldn't do without Mozilla either. Some pages don't render properly in Opera and I have to use Moz. Anyway, JMO. :)
  7. I don't understand. Why do you need a floppy? For package installation you can go through mandrake control center, software manager, rpmdrake.
  8. Shockwave isn't supported AFAIK. That's macromedia flash. Sorry, that was my mistake for not clarifying that.
  9. Mozilla-flash. Don't know about bittorent but Texstars rpms are the best.
  10. There's an rpm here http://freshmeat.net/redir/xmms-shn/12041/....2.7-2.i386.rpm but I have no idea if it works or not with 9.2.
  11. You can download the shockwave rpm from our download site. ftp://mandrake-forum.org/pub/Texstar/9.1/rpms/ It works fine in 9.2.

    Gimp

Open up the image and then right click on the image itself. You'll see "image" then "scale image." Enter the new dimensions and save. :)
  13. You can also get it from our download section. ftp://mandrakeusers.com/pub/Mandrake/Updates/9.2
  14. I imported a new skin, shockwave and AFAIK everything is working. I also updated Digital Confusion. You can apply these through My Controls, skin and language.
  15. If it's off of one of your installation cds you can go through the Mandrake Control Center > software manager, rpmdrake. If it's an rpm you downloaded then you can simply double click on it or open a terminal and as root type urpmi name of package (you have to be in the directory where the program is located). If it's a tar.gz then it's best to check the read me file because it "should" give installation instructions. But the norm is Extract, cd to new directory, in a terminal run ./configure, make and as root make install. I know that's not exact but if you have a tar.gz you're trying to install then tell us and we can walk you through it. Hope this helps!
  16. Sheesh! You never noticed the teeth? That's the best part. :P
  17. That's cool anna! No, I hadn't seen the wallpaper before. I got my avatar from a site with an avatar like that only with different colors and I went with the purple. Just being weird! Anyway, Thanks! I'm definitely saving that one.
  18. It is perfect! I hinted a lot last night by showing my husband a lot of things I liked from thinkgeek.com. He bought me some cool stuff there last year.
  19. I ran into problems using mcc so I found it here http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/4/idp...k.i586.rpm.html
