  4. something i don'T understand ther is already some urpmi repository fot mdk 10 and there is also cooker. im so confuse. if you see on the urpmi.org/easyurpmi page there is a mdkk 10 repository with the updates, and in the cooker part there is no update sources. thanks for your help i'm confused.
  5. yes you would have to reinstall your drivers. be sure to upgrade the rpm and to have the kernel-source of the same kernel you are installing, best way to do it is to use urpmi (in mcc in package management) and search for kernel and select kernel 2.6.wathever and the same kernel-source 2.6.wathever. and then reinstall your drivers . i know that nvidia driver will recompile itself with your kernel headers but for ati i dont know.

no you don't...when you have a layer you want an effect on, just go into the layer viewer, choose the layer you want, and select from the "Mode" drop down at the top... or do you consider that doing it manually? (i've never worked w/photoshop, can't compare..) geeez i never knew that yo made may day :).

Mostly some tools like the extract tool who kick very well. layer blending options like overlay and bevel (you have to do it manually in gimp). layer grouping (groups layers in on virtual folder) shapes support. hope one day gimp will have support for all thoses little but usefull things.
  22. usually if you have the third cd if you do as root urpmi kernel-source it should ask you for the third cd and install it. hope this helps
