Mandriva one is a strip down version of mandriva free, that contains only a fraction of packages so it could fit on one CD. You can add to MDV-one packages from 2007.1 Free easy-urpmi mirrors, so no upgrade or installation needed. Of course the packages that you could get on Free CDs - you have to download them separately, if you need them at all.

Maybe it hides buddies who are not connected?

That means that urpmi can't find the package name you entered. Try to type in a full package name. Have you added repository mirrors to urpmi earlier? What does urpmq --list-media returns? Most probably that you haven't configured your urpmi mirror list, because i can install xchm on my pc. Go to EasyUrpmi page to add your repo mirrors. Read http://wiki.mandriva.com/en/Tools/urpmi to learn more about urpmi usage.

You must be a root to use urpmi. Type: su your-root-password urpmi xchm

How do i get this rpm? Should i add testing mirrors to urpmi or is there another way?

When this happens The only thing so far to fix it was rebooting the system, so obviosly it is not a good thing to do. Maybe I'll just install the original FF from mozilla and stop using mandriva's?

How can i set the default FireFox theme? In 2007.1 FF comes with Crystal theme and it seems impossible to switch back to default.

Can you view normally web pages? I mean does your internet connection work? Did you use "urpmi.addmedia" similar to easy-urpmi instructions? You can try using "--wget" option. That will use wget instead default curl.

2007 one is great. No problems during installation and it is really fast, comparing to Ubuntu and even Kubuntu. It loads a live system faster indeed, as arctic said. Pity it doesn't have my country when it asks about your location :sad:

Despite signatures errors the packages i installed are still working. I wonder what may causes them... Maybe it is just poor configured mirror site?

Yes, thanks, but "mount -a" just mounts all devices that are listed in fstab (according to man pages), but doesn't remount them all to reveal all changes. Now when I think about this, it is impossible to remount all devices so the OS could still run... So my question was pointless... Thank you jboy

Yes, I had a couple of errors too while tried to install mplayer...

Just installed 2007.1 One. So far so good, I like it.
