durvish
Darkelve ---- I'm all about doing it myself ( or yourself -- however you read it ) sometimes it gets frustrating as hell but the stuff you learn along the way is more than worth it! Darkelve
Well, I got Gthumb working now, great program, exactly what I was looking for for my photo collections! Although it does seem a little buggy (back and forward buttons don't work in slideshow, file information crashes the program); is that because it is so new or because it's a Gnome App I'm running under KDE? It may have been a pain in the butt, but hey - at least I was there to experience the pain! I just read the 'Halloween documents', I think I'm finally beginning to understand what Open Source is all about. And I love every bit of it. chris:b
Darkelve: gthumb is wonderful! In the newer version gthumb 2.1.6 this bug is fixed, for 9.1 you'll get the rpm here: http://norlug.org/~chipster/rpm_index.pxml?cat=3 And for 9.2 gthumb 2.1.6 can be found on the 9.2 - contrib mirrors.
