SilverSurfer60
I've found a couple of things that I can't find a work around for in 2007.1, the first of which is when I select an application to install in MCC and the application has dependencies the dialog box comes up to tell me so, but, it is empty. Only when I proceed to apply do I get a list of dependencies. I can put up with this but it only came up with a clean install of 2007.1. The other is when I use the metisse desktop I am unable to get kdetv to fire up, it complains about being unable to grab the video and that I should adjust the settings for the v4l2 plugin. I've tried all there is, to no avail. Also when I come to log out of metisse I only have the option of ending the session, no restart nor shut down option. Other than these the distribution is a credit to the team. Any ideas anybody? Edited April 22, 2007 by SilverSurfer60

SilverSurfer60
It's not been fixed, do you think it's worth putting in another bug report? I'm sure there must be quite a few with the problem.
jaraeez
I had the same problem, but it went away last night after I applied some updates (didn't check what they were though!).
adamw
Please try rpmdrake-3.62-1mdv2007.1.i586.rpm from testing - it's been reported to fix this. If it doesn't, please do file a new bug.

Work's fine. Thanks. How do i get this rpm? Should i add testing mirrors to urpmi or is there another way? I just downloaded it from a testing repo, and installed it with the software installer. But you can add testing to urpmi.
