solarian
KDE 3.4.2 ReleasedOn July 28th 2005, the KDE Project released KDE 3.4.2. I think it'll be some time till 3.5 is final ;)
Jet2k5
Well 3.4.2 was just some bug fixes. They have been working on major implementations for quite some time now. Which should make the change big enough to change to 3.5. Remember the the last digit is mostly for bug fixes. Like the one we just had, man were those bugs nasty. arctic
there are some nice things in 3.5, indeed, like elegant as default style for the taskbar in kicker. i wonder however f it is such a good idea to implement superkaramba. it has always been buggy. too early for including it imho. also: they still need to clean up their menus. they are still a mess imho. too much icons and options for newcomers. but, of course, that is only my opinion. :)
scarecrow
Upgrade should be done with the outmost care (if at all), as most (all?) of 3.5.0 binaries are built using GCC 4. Dunno about Thac's RPM's, since I have no Mandy installation handy ATM.
