Guest Adriano1
...I thought they were out already. I downloaded the i386 dvd iso yesterday and I thought... Yes, there they seem to be.
DragonMage
Well.. I am downloading Mandrake 2005 DVD Iso at the moment. It will take a couple of days to finish (since I can only download them overnight). As soon as it is completed, I will download the FC4 64 bit DVD iso. Lowe
I just installed FC4, the install was very smooth! It detected everything and everything was working on first boot, this is the very first distro to succeed in that department! It also has great support for other languages, i installed korean, japanese and chinese. No messing around simple, fast and clean install. So far everything is working really well, this could be the distro i've been looking for all along. Edited June 18, 2005 by Lowe

jlc
B) You can DO IT! off topic, but I noticed gnomesword was in extras, just never saw it tell I was playing with yumex :D http://fedoranews.org/tchung/yumex/
arctic
i will update my lappy to fc4 soon (too lazy to start the download :P). fedora is a fine distro although it works totally different than mandriva or debian based distros. the only thing that annoys me a bit is the updating of fedora. apt-rpm, up2date and yum... what a mess :D
jlc
apt-rpm you have to install afterwards, so why even mess with it. up2date has always been in rh, and is used differently in rhel products, so why even mess with it :D I say use yum, and if you need a gui, check out yumex.
