liquidzoo
p.s. how will it be with xorg and ati 3d acceleration drivers? p.p.s. I know, I knwo, I should get nvidia asap <{POST_SNAPBACK}> xorg and XFree are very similar (at least, the version that's coming with 10.1 is) so if it works with XFree, it will work exactly the same with xorg (theoretically)
KopiX
oh thank god finally! I've been waiting for them to do the official so the cooker can get back on track again.. I know they need to go through their proper release cycle so I'm not complaining, just saying I've waited long and am so pleased to hear that we might finally get some upgrades :) I'm gettin mighty sick of using this buggy as hell thac version :) Peace

GodFlesh
Cooker will only be released in about one month. For the time being, we will only have in cooker bug fixes from 10.1 official

Havin_it
I was wondering about this... I previously did an in-place upgrade from 10.0 CE to OE, is there any reason for that not to work with this release? My main worry is I seem to remember talk about XFree86 no longer being supported (though that was before I got 10.0 OE, I think) - should I be worried? GodFlesh
10.1 has X.org, but the change should be transparent for you (Mandrake creates shortcut for the configuration files that have changed) You should not have troubles upgrading if you kept your previous system clean.
