iphitus
For me, that 40gb hdd would be a little small.
DOlson
It looks ok, but I'd bump up the video card to at least a 5900 if you wanna play Doom 3 when it's available for Linux. And as for the hard drive, yeah, I agree. My games partition alone is 40GB, heh. I have a lot of Linux games (at least compared to the number that there are), and here I have listed all of them, I think. The ones in bold I love to play. :) Aliens Versus Predator Gold America's Army: Operations (free) Civilization: Call to Power LE (Loki) Creatures 3: Internet Edition (LGP) Descent II Descent 3 (Loki) Devastation Eric's Ultimate Solitaire (Loki) FreeSpace: Silent Threat FreeSpace: The Great War Heavy Gear II (Loki) Heretic Heretic II (Loki) Heroes of Might and Magic III (Loki) Hexen Kingpin: Life of Crime Kohan: Immortal Sovereigns (Loki) Majesty Gold Medal of Honor: Allied Assault Medal of Honor: Spearhead Mindrover (LGP) Myth II: Soulblighter (Loki) Neverwinter Nights Orbz Postal Plus (Loki) Quake Quake 2 Quake 3 Arena (Loki) Railroad Tycoon II Gold (Loki) Return to Castle Wolfenstein (TuxGames installer) Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory (free) Rune (Loki) Savage Serious Sam: The First Encounter Serious Sam: The Second Encounter Soldier of Fortune (Loki) Space Tripper (PomPom) Tactical Ops: Assault on Terror Terminus Tribes 2 (Loki) Ultimate Doom Unreal Gold Unreal Tournament 2003 (TuxGames) Unreal Tournament: Game of the Year Edition Uplink: Hacker Elite Edited August 6, 2004 by DOlson

I am disappointed with my GF4 Ti4200 and was since I bought it, so next time I'm not skimping. :)

jlc
I like my 5700 ultra, plays my games just fine. You might look for a hardrive that gets 8MB cache too. I don't mind my ti4200 either but Dolson plays more games than I.

I have all but given up on Linux gaming.
