titous09
i was wondering if there was any way that i could bind a button to have my cdrom automatically eject. when pressed again, the cdrom would go in. thanks
liquidzoo
you could set a key binding to, say, 'umount /mnt/cdrom && eject /mnt/cdrom', that would make it eject, but I have no idea about getting it back in.
idud
The command to close the cdrom tray is eject -t
Jet2k5
Actually ther might be a way, you can do this thrue this program that LiquidZoo has told me about it's called acme. To install it make sure you have your sources set up and do this: Urpmi acme then you can run it and look for something that says Eject key, put what ever key you want and it will do it from there. I'll try it and post back and see if it worked... -Luis Edit: YUP I just tried it and it works! you should defenetly try it!! SwiftDeath
Eject /mnt/cdrom and eject -t /mnt/cdrom will open and close it. I know this because I've been working on a script that auto burns isos for you.
