Qchem
Have you checked whether that file exists? Did you install via source or rpm? I'd suggest you go for the rpm if you haven't already.

linux_learner
is /usr/share/AbiSuite-2.0/AbiWord/help/en-US/index.html there? cd into /usr/share/AbiSuite-2.0/AbiWord/ and do ls to see what directories you have. if you have the help directory, then cd into that and do ls in the help directory. you should find en-US there. now the question is, did you download the rpm, or did you use urpmi. if you downloaded the rpm, you may have missed the regional support, which would explain this problem. jeanrev
I downloaded the RPM direct from an indication on a forum because I don't know how to install it from URPMI should I install a new source in the software manager ? and which one ? or should I use the Update side of URPMI but again on which site to connect ? Thanks for your help I am still a newbie as far as installation is concerned with RPM or tar.gz I am not up to the master mark

Gowator
jeanrev.... http://urpmi.org/easyurpmi/index.php Try this to set up sources. Everything is there. Once you have it if you use urpmi to install it finds the latest verwsions and deps. YOu can use INSTALL from MCC or from a command line urpmi <package> will find latest version and the dependancies. I cant recommend anything MORE... :D (do you still need 8.2???)

Gowator
If you have used easyurpmi then you just click RPMDRAKE... Abiword and the docs will be there...you can search on ABI ... But You must first use the CLI top add the lines as root. (as detailed on the easy urpmi site) You can use the graphical Gestionnaire des depots BUT its a lot more work and harder than usig the CLI. liquidzoo
Gowator - I edited your post to fix a couple of broken tags. Also, for another source on how to use urpmi, check out RPM-02 in our FAQs section.
