Gnubie
I replaced my old 20gb hard drive with a new 120gb one. Took a bit of figuring out, but I finally got it and feel good. Now I have enough room to have windows installed alongside Linux for the sake of playing games, of course.
aRTee
Good for you man. Can't have too much diskspace! Now get on to linux games, and stop buying windows games...:P

Gnubie
If there were Linux versions of the games I like then I would buy them over the windows version, but unfortunately the option is not there in most cases so I will make do with windows games. DragonMage
Well.. you are right that games in linux is a bit dry at the moment.. but then again.. the only game I play right now are emulated games, such as snes, gameboyadvance, and dos (yes.. I am playing Dune2 dos version right now in dosbox.. anything wrong with that?) Congrats on your hd change btw..
aRTee
Whatabout frozen-bubble, tuxracer, etc... And then: neverwinter nights, majesty, ut2k3/4, ET, etcetc... Plenty of games, just not (yet) all. As long as linux users keep buying windows games, you're putting money on the wrong side of the scale... arthur
I deleted the windows partition on my second hard drive in my Linux test box. Windows doesn't want to run on a slave drive, while a 2nd Linux distro doesn't even make a peep. B) Why can't we all just get along? :(
aRTee
If you only dual/triple boot linux, you can get along quite nicely. Currently bootable on my system: mdk9.2 mdk10.0beta2 mdk10.0rc1 Only using the latter two, the last I only installed yesterday, still have to configure quite a few things, and if my wife wants to watch a movie, I'll boot into the beta2 that is configured for such tasks (LIRC and all)... I don't know too much about dosbox, just getting into Linux but will it run M$ Windows games like Quake2 and Return to Castle Wolfenstien? I'm doing the same thing here, using M$ Windows to run games . Is there a way to run them in Linux intstead of M$ Windows ?
