Any idea what the problem could be? i tryed diffrent browsers and everything.

Linux is ten times better than any windows OS. I'm not even going to tell you why, find out for yourself..

I downloaded(suprnova.org) Revolution OS last night and watched it this morning, there was a lot of stuff i never knew about linux and it was great to learn about, after watching this film i felt like running outside naked with Linux painted across my body, but that might be a bad idea, i would probally get arrested. :P Anyway i think everyone should get this dvd, now that ive seen it i will probally go to the shop and buy it, just as a thank you i suppose. :D I didn't know redhat used to be one of the most used linux distros, that came as a suprise. (because most people say it's crap) if anyone can't get it via BT send me a pm and i will set you up a private ftp account for it. :) Well as i said in another post, i formatted my windows partiton last night and well im so happy i did. I think the film was made in 2001 so does anyone have any stats if more people are using linux than what they were in 2001, i want linux to grow and for more people to be able to use it, i don't want it to fade away. Do you think linux will fade away or do you think it will grow bigger and bigger.

Well it's been a few days since i was in my xp partition, anyway it loaded up (taking forever as usual) i started up firefox browsed a few things and the next thing you know "Virus Detected" how annoying, i was so annoyed i just went and formatted my xp partition. Am i crazy or what? :P

What's the best software to run a private ftp server? when i was in the windows world i used BPFTP is there anything similar?

Dynamic Ip address. I'm not to bothered because it doesn't seem to affect speeds, but oh well.

When i download stuff with Azureus the little face thing is always yellow, when i highlight it says you may have a NAT probelm, i don't have a router ot anything, im using a D-link 300T ethernet modem and no firewall software, that i know of. So any ideas how to fix it? i also have some problems with other P2P clients. (like xmule)

Is there anyway to convert ntfs partions to fat32 on linux, without data loss? i guess the answers no, but it doesn't hurt to ask. ;)

I installed the package nocturnes mentioned, but still no joy, can't even view webpages with kanji. :( EDIT: ok i can now see it in webpages, but i still can't see it on files.

Well you could go back into rescue mode and install the other bootloader (think it's called lilo)
