  2. I'm pretty happy ... 9.0 failed installing on my laptop making initrd (odd thing to fail on :? ) 9.1 has gone fine !!! .... question : what on cd 3 ??? I never installed that coz I only had 2w blank cd's lying around. Screenshot incase your interested

    do you have a /dev/dvd ??? I had to create one manually when I was setting up a gentoo machine. ln -s /dev/hdx /dev/dvd did it for me

  10. ahhh then it is a dns issue you need to get your websites pointed to your machine at the DNS hoster. also you have 192.168.0.1 as an IP address in those examples .. is that the actual IP address of the machine ??? coz then it could be a routing issue I'll explain what I have .... I have a cable plugged into a router (computer) with two network cards card 1 = IP 202.27.218.97 card 2 = 192.168.1.1 on my router (running Mandrake MNF) I have port forwarded port 80 to 192.168.1.2 the web server has IP address 192.168.1.2 the other thing that can affect this working is DNS paul@trinity paul $ dig loudas.com ;; QUESTION SECTION: ;loudas.com.   11. I would think that id it working internally .. but not externally then it wouldn't be an apache problem. DNS problems perhaps?
  12. ok I don't understand this bit .... what are the redirects for ?? have a look at /var/log/httpd/error (and other in that directory) also you may need to make changes to /etc/httpd/conf/commonhttpd.conf but I didn't the only time I have touch commonhttpd.conf is when I was hosting outside /var/www/html ... then I had to make a <Directory> entry in commonhttpd.conf for the directory I wanted to use
