ShadowFoxLSU
Well I installed Fedora core on my laptop and I am planning on setting it up as a server, but unlike Mandrake 9.X, Fedora does not recognise my ethernet chipset. It's an HP Pavilion N5425 Laptop. Anyone have an idea on how to fix this small problem?
ezroller
do you know what chipset you have exactly?
DragonMage
Well.. if you know what module it is, just modprobe it. Put the name of the module in /etc/modules so it starts during bootup.
ShadowFoxLSU
After a little research, I found out what driver I should use with the ethernat card on my laptop. Luckly, the driver had been built into the kernal, but for some reason RH/Fedora doesnt have it listed. The driver's name is "tulip"
