My problem. I have a pctel amr sis7013 win_problem_modem. I downloaded the linmodems.org modules and intalled it fine. I think you just need to symlink modem with ttyS15. in a terminal type: #cd /dev #ln -s ttyS15 modem ***double check above code beforehand. tried to recall off top of head while away from my linux box. I made ln -s /dev/ttyS15 /dev/modem or something like this And in drakconnect tried to connect by /dev/modem but when next to answer yes to "connect now to internet?", drakconnect tried to connect with eth0... and faild of course... Last nigth i'd reinstalled mdk9.1 (a lot of trouble because my son, my wife and his father shutdown the pc just turning off and i forgot my psw, so...) Well, then i run scanmodem and my modem isn't a pctel, is a intel 537 so i wil try with slmdm-2.7.10 tonigth... by other hand. i had some problems with dvd and floppy supermounting.
