Guest fubar::chi
maybe putting the stuff on a bootable cd would work better?

MottS
Put all the required files in a directory (let's say /home/whatever_user/flash) and create an iso image out of it as follow: mkisofs -o Flash.iso -Jrv -V test_disk /home/whatever_user/flash and now burn it with cdrecord -v -eject speed=8 dev=0,1,0 Flash.iso MOre details HERE MOttS
qnr
make sure you have the right device though, with cdrecord -scanbus Mine, for instance is 0,0,

johnnyv
newer gigabyte boards have a flash upgrade utility in the bios itself, you don't need a boot disk at all just a floppy with the new bios on it. also the dual bios also rocks
