fahd
Any help! can anybody tell me how to overcome this problem in real player 10.0.9.809-...rpm in mandz 2008 free: "Can not open the audio device. Another application may be using it." Thanks a lot. Fahd [moved from Everything Linux by spinynorman]
scarecrow
Just disable artsd, and set the RealPlayer output to something (alsa, or oss). What the heck you want from that player? I haven't ever used it since the last seven blue moons, and haven't even installed it (that one, or the opensource Helix player) for the last two years or so... SilverSurfer60
What's wrong with Helixplayer & Real-codecs I ask? I use that combination quite often to watch streaming video (NASA tv). It's the only one that keeps the audio in sync with the video, fully resizeable and very rarely fails for me. For audio I use xmms player, only because I'm used to it and it doesn't seem to hog resources.
