Guest c_m_f
ok, ive installed wine from the 9.1 cd's, and its teh same version as what i used in 9.0 (wine-20030115) and i got kazaa working fine on that, but when i try it now i have 9.0 using the same instructions i get "this program requires windows 9.1). Any ideas how to fix?

johnnyv
What a concept, install Linux just so you can run Windows spyware The tutorial is for kazaa lite which is a non spyware version, and has a script you can run to set it all up. Not that i use it as i prefer the direct connect method via dcgui over kazaa. in regards to c_m_f's problem did you try typing. export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.2.5 before running wine? as per wines instructions here http://www.winehq.org/index.php?issue=163#...h%20glibc%202.3 The new glibc is causing some problems
MottS
I run KaZaA Lite 1.72 and never got a problem with anything. Here is the tut: LINK -- http://www.mandrakeusers.org/viewtopic.php...highlight=kazaa -- LINK BTW, it takes 30-40% of my cpu power when I run it .. so you are not the only one c_m_f. I guess this is normal .. MuttS
