sjaglin
Hi, I was playing with E17 and noticed the "entrance" program, very eye candy graphic display manager. How can I configure mandriva so that entrance kicks in when I start instead of the default mandriva/kde stuff? Stef
dexter11
You mean you can't choose it in the MCC? It must be on the Boot tab.

dexter11
OK I was wrong it's on the System tab and the traffic light icon. Choose the login manager. There you should see the available options and Entrance among them.

I did startx and will keep kdm for now until I figure out what when wrong... Stef
aerogate
Yes, same here. Initially had no Entrance option in Display manager setup, so installed it vie urpmi entrance (including the dependencies). With Entrance now selected as display manager, I get tty login. Would be cool to see it working :)
sjaglin
When under kde you open a shell and type entrance you'll actually see it working. Stef
