Ixthusdan
I wanted to post what I think is a big plus for Mandriva. I have a Brother printer that has never worked through Linux, having used my Epson instead. On a lark tonight, I configured the Brother printer through the network as a shared device on a windows machine. Mandriva found the printer and configured it automatically. Wow. I think it is amazing.

ianw1974
It's real nice when that happens. A big plus for Linux.
Ixthusdan
The best part is all I did was use the set up wizard, and it all happened just like it should. And it didn't break anything!! What do you think, Gowater??

arctic
Wow... impressive... I have been trying to get the Canon LPB2900 to work in CentOS and fedora lately and failed miserably, it somehow always stalled and it looked like a bug in fedora/redhats udev package. Now I installed it in a fresh install of Mandriva 2007.1 (after I killed my X :P) and it works perfectly! Hat's off!
