i945G and mandy 2007

It aeems that mandy 2007 (free version) does not support motherboards shipped with i945G cipsets. Does it mean that we(mandy fans) should get rid of such motherboards? Hopefully this is not acceptable from mandy engineers. It is wise to give us a practical solution. Thanks a lot.

Seems a little brief in what you say. What do you mean it doesn't support it? It doesn't work?

Asus motherboard(P5L-MX with intel 945G chipset). When I try to set the ethernet card, I often get the following message:

No device can be found for this connection type.

When I look in Hardware tab(within mcc), I see the: L1 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter. Is there any clue? Thanks a lot.

OK, sounds like a problem with your network card. What's the results of:

 

lspci

 

trying to find out what network card it is. However, is the rest of your system functioning correctly? This would mean it's not the motherboards fault, just the network card.
