Uh oh.

Anyway, I noticed on my other thread that you had a trillion more libraries then I did. I'm assuming that nothing is compiling because I don't have the relevent libraries installled (God knows why... but I can't ask him).

Idesk looks really cool, but I got a bunch of errors when I tried 'make'

g++ -g -O2 -c Desk.cc -o Desk.o

Desk.h:11:17: png.h: No such file or directory

Desk.cc:6: `Imlib_init' undeclared (first use this function)

Desk.cc:8: `SpareRoot' undeclared (first use this function)

Desk.cc:8: `Imlib_create_image_from_drawable' undeclared (first use this function)

Desk.cc: In destructor `Desk::~Desk()':

Desk.cc:17: `Imlib_kill_image' undeclared (first use this function)

Desk.cc: In member function `void Desk::Execute(char*)':

Desk.cc:213: `fork' undeclared (first use this function)

Desk.cc:218: `_exit' undeclared (first use this function)

make: *** [Desk.o] Error 1

Can some help me get started on this? Thanks.

Sure

[bvc@localhost bvc]$ urpmf Imlib.h

libimlib1-devel:/usr/include/Imlib.h

[bvc@localhost bvc]$ urpmf png.h

libpng3-devel:/usr/include/libpng12/png.h

libpng3-devel:/usr/include/png.h

install libimlib1-devel, and libpng3-devel....the rest of the current errors should be resolved...then see if you get any others.

idesk is sweet and adds a whole new element to flux. I run flux at home because my box is too slow to snap the way kde does at work. Flux and idesk and 3ddesktop have been able to provide my box with new life and give me some eyecandy at the same time.

Just wanted to say "thanks." I finally had some time to get fluxbox, idesk, and wmappl, up and running, and I've got a VERY clean desktop.

That 3ddesktop top looks cool. I'll try that when I've got some time.
