scarecrow Posted November 5, 2006 Report Share Posted November 5, 2006 If you want to share files and folders on your Linux PC, you need to install and configure samba. You can share printers straightaway though, no samba is required. For accessing files, folders and printers in windoze machines you do not need the full samba package, only "smbclient" installed is enough.
