I have a brand new HP Pavillion dv4000, and I can't get it to connect to the net. I also couldn't get the wireless configured correctly. ianw1974 Posted March 21, 2006 Report Share Posted March 21, 2006 Drakconnect never worked for configuring my wireless. Your better off doing the command line way with ndiswrapper or whichever way you're configuring it. I am forced to use ndiswrapper with my card, and just following their wiki install guide is enough to get it working. Oh, and their wpa_supplicant guide as well. Using drakconnect let me use it while the machine was active, but as soon as I rebooted, back to square one, and start again. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
