leezer3
Hiya, Small problem really, but its irritating the heck out of me- 1. I cannot find anywhere to turn off the icons that follow the mouse around as an app from the menu is loading. 2. Similarly, I can't remove the info bubble when the mouse is hovering on a button on the taskbar. Looks like it was changed since the last time I edited it:) edit -2-: I think it under look and feel, behaviour.... Doesnt work for me though. lynchmob
For Busy Cursor go to Appearances and Themes> Launch Feedback and select " No Busy Cursor". For the other thing, right click the Panel at the bottom of the desktop and go to Panel Menu> Configure Panel> Appearance tab and un-check the "Enable Icon Mouseover Effects." lynchmob
daniewicz
For KDE 3.3 (Mandriva 10.2 or 2005 LE) KDE Control Center Appearance and Themes Launch Feedback select No Busy Cursor edit: beaten by lynchmob B) Edited December 27, 2005 by daniewicz
leezer3
Found it Quite typically, this option has vanished from KDE 3.5, and so a little manual editing is needed: Find your /home/USER/.kde/config/kickerrc file. Add this to the bottom: [buttons] EnableIconZoom=false EnableTileBackground=fals and those dratted popups are gone. Cheers -Leezer-
