bvc
oh, k..thought maybe that's what it was but since the same can be done with gdesklets I wasn't sure. Titlebars kinda hinted the new E feel though. I gave up on it long ago. Now, by the time it's released it won't be anything special and such a dog to theme, few will care. Too many alternatives out there now.
jlc
There is more to it than just looking at it, it has a different feel to it, it's moved along since I tried it 2-3 months ago. But yeah, all wm/de can get crazy now-a-days. FVWM2 can look like just about anything. Edited May 27, 2005 by cybrjackle
bvc
I've considered trying FVWM2, but I just don't have the time or patience for that sort of thing anymore.

jlc
ftp://65.28.47.173/pub/screenshots/20050528-150310-lg.jpg Anyone know how to "record" as in make a video of your desktop from software. There is a background for "E" that just flows and shows a sceen of moutains/village kind of stuff. Totally geektastik. Totatlly kills the cpu, but everyone I have shown it to just looks at it with amazement :D
Guest Adriano1
There are videos of the animated backgrounds and other niceties of E17 around the Enligthenment's site. I remember I downloaded them when the matter hit /. Truly geektastic, but I couldn't see the practical advantage. Perhaps there isn't one yet.
