Earny
The title sais enough. Since I installed mdk 10.1, the computer performs all task after requesting a shut down of the system. It send the term signal and the kill all signal, but when it comes to shutting down, the computer seems to receive an instruction (a minor click), but it does not really shut down The mdk screen with the tasks performed remains. Dad
Anon, This problem has annoyed the hell out of me for about 6 months now. I looked all over the place for an answer and figured it was my motherboard. Thanks for the fix. :)

Sarissi
I checked 'enable acpi' and added acpi=on to the append line, and it works fine with my nForce2 mobo.
