t_101
After I type what I want to search and click "search" I get a message stating I need to connect by going to File and clicking connect. Well when I do that it shows I am already connected. So I clicked disconnect and then connect to see if that would make a difference. And it didn't. So I need some help. -Alec
Darkelve
Strange... what message do you get considering quality? Poor, Medium, Good, Excellent or Turbocharged? And if you search, don't any files show up? Also, I remember there is an advanced option in there somewhere to "Force IP", maybe that's something you could try? Darkelve
Hey thanks for the help but for some weird reason I just got back in it, and it works just fine. Wierd. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Could it just be because it did not find enough servers to connect to the first time?
Jet2k5
Yeah most likely just close it down and back up and it should connect right away. -Luis
SoulSe
Limewire gives me a world of problems... and requires java (ick). I prefer gtk-gnutella - runs on the same network, integrates better with my gtk2 desktop and works better IMHO. It might not be as fancy (with star ratings, etc.) but it does the job... well.
