Darkelve
I installed Cedega and tried "TES 3: Morrowind" with it. In my nvidia settings, I set AGP (AGpart?) to "1" meaning it cannot take full advantage of 3D card accelleration or something; anyway things will run a lot slower with it. Nevertheless, Morrowind installed and ran flawlessly with it! A little slow, but still pretty playable. Also, the mouse moves a little weird and it's a bit difficult to click on buttons at times. Still, performance should be really good when 3D card is set up properly, I suspect... Going to test just a few more days to see if I don't have too many CTD; if not, I'm going to shell out some money for Cedega (WineX). Guest Lukas
Not sure why they changed the name...probably to get over the tarnish over the releasing-the-code-back-into-the-wine-tree fiasco, but please have your own threads about that. Read more here: http://www.transgaming.com/news.php?newsid=119 Cedega is a name of one kind of grapes, wich makes some of the best wine's (the drink, not the program). So its kinda to say that now wine is a much mature product, and also is one of best programs based on wine.

Which makes sense, since they (transgaming) also offer help to "port" Windows games to Linux.
SwiftDeath
Hmmm. I think wine will eventually pass cedega in game development. Because wine focuses on the base while transgaming focuses on the direct problem so they only do a quick fix. Also, it seems that transgaming now my using our dollars to fund xbox and mac funding which I find quite sad. I hope that cedega lives to all its hype, all the forums it seems it was just a marketing scheme to get some more buyers, But I am happy with it because it runs War3 and Medal Of Honor : Breakthrough.
