It seems to play all the old games that i could play in the past MUC better and several games I was unable to play before are now playable, so yes, this does deserve a major version update. I tried it and there is a substantial and noticable improvement in framerate in counter-strike. However it made the game unplayable too, in game my left click or fire acts like caps lock.
