Darkelve
Nice. The importance of conversions like these for Linux just cannot be underestimatedd.
Hirogen2
Not to forget to mention that China is also planning on using something different than Windows, preferably Linux.
gmac
http://management.silicon.com/itdirector/0...39120142,00.htm What a twit! How can he justify that to himself, having played an instrumental part in switching Munich to linux is he going to go back and say it was wrong and microsoft was better? Give him sic months and he will be out of the industry if he doesn't produce for microsoft what linux company in theior rught mind would have him back? arctic
The funny thing is that not only Munich switched to Linux, but most Universitys and... tadaaa... all mayor brazilian companys as well as the government want to test linux for in order to permanenty switch from win to linux, thus supporting brazilian linux-developers like conectiva and kurumin. Microsoft refused to give a comment on that decision. I bet they are chewing nails now in Redmond. :D
