Web Syntax Highlighting?

I'm in the need of some software that is just a basic file editor, but has the little web-editting features such as auto-tab, syntax highlighting, etc. Someone suggest BlueFish, but that seemed to create all you files into a site file, and did some weird stuff. Anyone have other suggestions?

Also, I'll need just a simple FTP client. ...one that can communicate with Windows.

Thanks!!! :joker:

Simple FTP Client? Easy: gFTP. Really easy to use, and it's generally installed by default.

Web editor with highlighting? Not sure if it does the auto-tabbing that you want, but kwrite or kate will highlight the syntax automatically for you. Again, those are installed with a default KDE installation.

Hi there,

For web editing, Quanta is pretty kewl, has all the standard stuff like syntax highlighting, intelligent indenting (if there is such a thing), common HTML tag generators/wizards, etc.

Or, if you really wanna be hardcore, use VI *evil grin*

Regards,

Armond
