Gowator
jeanrev Do you have a DVD reader you can temporarily hook up. I have a MDK 8.2 DVD which i can post (where are you exactly) I also have 8.1 CD sets but Id stay away from 8.1 without updates! It was the big glibc changeover.... jlc
The problem I would see with running an old distro is updates(security & bug fixes). You should really consider looking into something like vector or slackware. http://www.vectorlinux.com/ It is only a 224MB iso so that will be easier on 56k too VL-4.iso 80e7b163c4b5a074f6fe38d01a9cfa8b VL4.0.iso Vector 4.0 Deluxe $23 usd w/ printed manual Features the 2.4.22 kernel in either ide or scsi configurations. XFree-4.3.0 gui. Full firewall and USB hotplugging. Over 450 megs of additional programs available in the CD packages directory. Great choice for that pentium 133 or above. 32 megs of ram minimum 64 megs suggested for optimum gui performance. Hard drive space required 650 megs.
