scoopy
You running KDE ? Try installing KsCD. My xmms did same thing until I installed KsCD. I have no idea why I had to install it so xmms would play. I just tried it when I saw the new auto play scripts were set to KsCD.

Padma
I have a similar problem, but for me, Noatun works, so I have just been using that. When I start xmms, everything works fine, until after I select a song to play. When I hit the "Play" button, everything just freezes. Guest pipplo
It's in a nother thread, you can try removing soundwrapper from the shortcut. Meaning open the menu editor and you can see that the command beign used to open xmms is "soundwrapper xmms", change it to "xmms" but have you updated from cooker yet? I found that this fixes the problem.
