chris z
another question............ can you/should you leave your /home/.kde directory in place? and, if so, does KDE3.2 retain & use your old personalized KDE settings? for inquiring minds that want to know.......... Chris Not sure. I removed my old .kde directory just to make sure that there were no conflicts. Actually, I simply backed it up and changed the name to something like .kde-old. That way, I have access to what was in it. However, I really have not needed it.
Sagittarius
You can also, if you do not want to change your glibc and grab other packages from Cooker but KDE3.2, take a look at here : KDE 3.2 for 9.2 - Sagittarius These are uptodate RPMS for 9.2 builded on a clean 9.2.1 install. But read carefully the installation suggestion. You'll need main, contrib and plf urpmi sources. I've also included some goodies K3b, Kaffeine, digikam 06, KimDaBa, Guarddog, Guidedog, Kbear, Kbudget, Karchiver, Kdenlive, Khttrack, Koffice, superkaramba ... a special patched liquid theme, baghira-win-deco screenshot here If you read french, you can have a look here
