Hi, Just a guess here, but I think that I would suspect the mouse itself. It sounds to me as if there is an intermittent "short" in the connection and when you replug it in, it works again. Or, I could be totally wrong. dalee

Hi! I get that also with a SB Awe 64 Gold card. So I think it is more a problem with the sound server than the hardware itself. dalee

I'm tring it out, but I for me it isn't any faster than Mozilla. A second or two faster to load. But nothing I'd dump Mozilla for. I think though I will keep watching and trying it. dalee

Hi, You wil need to do an expert install. Then pick each partion and change the FS type. At least I think 9.0 still lets' you do that. I'm still using 8.0 :( . Stupid worthless dial-up. dalee

Hi, I'm using Abiword 1.01 with 8.0. I just grabbed the rpm for RH and installed it no problem. It might not be optimized for Mandrake, but it works fine for me. dalee

Hi, For a free CAD program I use QCad with Mandrake. I'm a Machinist, and it's a good prog for doing quick and not too terribly complicated part drawings. dalee
