isn't the newest version 1.41? Thats what i have installed. Maybe upgrading to that will fix your problem.

theyve been working on bf1942 server tooo, so maybe.... just maybe they'll have client for that too :-) , doubt it, but i sure as hell hope so America's Army makes more sense tho

to launch a in SU for normal just type su -c "proramhere" it will prompt u for root password then launch the program with root privliges ex.. su -c "/usr/bin/endeavour2"

ok on my laptop linux doesn't automatically detect my sound card, but thanks to the web i found that... modprobe ad1848 io=0x530 irq=5 dma=1 dma2=0 makes it work, but the problem is that i have to type that each time i reboot my laptop , how do i add it to modules.conf so that it will automatically be started at boot? thanks in advanced

do u have a AGP or PCI video card? ut2k3 will not run with a PCI video card, it needs to be an AGP

the downloadable UT2003 demo for linux is a demo, not a full version, it has one or two maps for each type of game mode it has, and it is an online demo too. The full UT-client is not free, you must buy it. And the linux installer for it is on CD3 of the 3 cd set, i didn't see anywhere on the box or manual where it says u can install it on linux, but sure enough it's there. I've been playing it for 2 weeks now, it's awsome
