Hi I know in windows to get 'ê' 5 have to hold down the ALT key and type 136 on the numpad. How do i type these special characters in KDE and vi?

Hi I've upgraded my box from 9.1 to 9.2. I was also running Texstar's KDE 3.1.3, but after the upgrade removed alot of his pacakages anyways. Does Mandrake 9.2 come with no screensavers? I don't have one listed?!? I searched for screensavers on the disks, with no luck.
