jeanrev
Hi, Can you let me know where I can find an uptodate information on installing and operating an ethernet link between 2 PC's with Linux Mandrake 9.1 ?
tyme
if you are just trying to link to PC's (without sharing the internet) you really just need to get a crossover cable. if you want to configure them further, then we need to talk about what you want: samba shares (for sharing files/directories), internet sharing, etc. there's the internet connection sharing wizard in mandrake control centre which could help you out for connection sharing, and samba is a bit more complicated-and i've never really worked with it so hopefully someone else will pop in and give you advice if you want it.
